What I do

Body therapy is an important approach to finding a way through difficult places in our lives that have produced trauma, anxiety and depression. With Epower Pilates I can provide a safe, non-judgmental place for individuals to work towards mindfulness, mental and physical freedom and ultimately a more empowered, enriched life. Using pilates equipment including the pilates reformer, and active dynamic psychotherapy we will work as a team and begin to move you out of those dark, frustrating places and find peace and healing in body, mind and spirit.

LET’S WORK TOGETHER

Working within the
present moment.

Take a look at these short videos to get a glimpse
into how the process works.

"I feel frozen and stuck".

" I can't breathe"

"My trauma runs my life.”

These are things I hear when people share about how difficulties have taken over their lives.

It doesn't have to be that way.

— Elizabeth Power

I currently have COVID requirements in place and verbally cue you in a safe, clean private one on one session.

As a licensed psychotherapist I have worked for over 25 years with amazing clients who have  overcome incredible emotional and physical odds. In addition to being a psychotherapist, I am also a certified pilates instructor. Over the years, I began to notice that the journey towards emotional healing is stored deep in the body.... and at times SO difficult to access through traditional talk therapy. In treatment, I began to implement powerful pilates body work using the pilates reformer to address anxiety, depression, and traumatic events involving PTSD. It has been an amazing, marvelous work.

In therapy using body movement and pilates together with psychotherapy I can offer a safe, stable  place to find emotional peace and healing. I value and honor the sacred journey of each individual as they heal.

Anyone is welcome to try a session.
